Uldo Backmittel was founded in 1960. For the first few years it operated as a mid-sized manufacturer of baking agents. However, the 80s brought the boom — the company was taken over by Walter Feucht, the current President and father of Uldo’s success.
"When I took over the company, we presented ourselves as a manufacturer — one of very many. Our offer did not stand out from the others. This is when we came up with the idea of introducing high-quality branded products which wouldn’t be just another type of bread but a way of life" — says Walter Feucht.
