Milk thistle cookies were prepared on the basis of milk thistle flour with silymarin. Thanks to its silymarin contents, milk thistle protects liver cells and supports regeneration of liver. Sylimarin has positive impact on stabilisation and obturation of cell membranes, it protects liver against toxins and helps to detoxicate liver. According to the recommendations of the World Health Organisation, daily sylimarin dose is ca. 200 mg. Milk thistle cookies contain 200 mg sylimarin in 100 g (ca. 5 cookies). |
